Worked together with local stores of Louis Vuitton and provide 3d scan, modelling and printing services.

Most client wanted to make protection cases for their luxury goods. This requires shipping to the factory in Paris. The original pieces are often damaged or broken beyond repair. With 3d printing technology, they no longer need to worry such problem. Any damage occur can simply be solved by printing a new piece.

The process is not as easy as it seems. Scanning can only give general dimensions and scale, however most work are done with actual measurement of the piece and modelling from scratch to specifications. Printing can also be challenging, good management of ambient temperature and humidity are importances of success.
